满江红

My wrath bristle through my helmet, 
the rain stops as I stand by the rail.
怒发冲冠，凭栏处，
潇潇雨歇。

I look up towards the sky and 
let loose a passionate roar.
抬望眼，
仰天长啸，壮怀激烈。

At the age of thirty, 
my deeds are nothing but dust,
my journey has taken me 
over eight thousand.
三十功名尘与土，
八千里路云和月。

So do not sit by idly, 
for young men will grow old in regret.
莫等闲白了少年头，空悲切。

The humiliation of JingKang still lingers,
When will the pain of the Emperor’s
 subjects ever end?
靖康耻，犹未雪；
臣子恨，何时灭。

Let us ride our chariots 
through the Helan Pass!
驾长车踏破贺兰山缺！

There we shall feast on barbarian flesh
and drink the blood of Xiongnu.
壮志饥餐胡虏肉，
笑谈渴饮匈奴血。

Let us begin anew 
to recover our old empire,
before paying tribute 
to the Emperor.
待从头收拾旧山河，
朝天阙。
