Bali Minimoon: Rating This The BEST We Had

I’ve always known of Kilo because they have a branch in SG as well! But when I came across a TikTok video of someone saying that they had the best meal in Bali at Kilo Bali, I decided we had to go there!

Definitely much cheaper than if we were to have the same meal in SG, we spent a total of S$69 for 2 pax 👍🏻

Okay so was it really as good as what that TikToker said??? Here’s our honest review from the best to the meh:

1️⃣ Cream Of Ebiko Noodles (S$17.64)

Wah guys this is really good! Probably the best thing we had on our trip. The crunchiness of the roe really paired well with the al dente-ness of the pasta. The sauce was mildly sweet but complemented the dish perfectly. Highly recommend!

2️⃣ Kilo’s Seafood Ceviche (S$13.58)

I’m a bit wary of eating anything mildly raw at Bali but decided to do it anywhere here and no regrets!!! The dish was drizzled with a lot of lime/lemon juice and it was a great appetiser, I believe the ceviche was probably also cooked by the lime juice so it was not 100% raw when we had it. A delightful dish that opened our appetite for the night

3️⃣ Grilled Vegetable & Ricotta (S$10.40)

Crunch and yummy! The ricotta was like a sauce you could dip, not super cheesy so it still felt like it was a healthy dish. Really enjoyed this for a veggie dose

4️⃣ Beef Tongue Tacos (S$10.40)

Consist of 2 pieces, it was okayyyy, not mindblowing, the beef was a bit chewy so in the end my whole taco collapsed 😂 it was a mess, the taco shell wasn’t the best. I think you can skip this!

5️⃣ Coconut Tembleque (S$7.24)

I only enjoyed the coconut pudding 😂 The pineapple sorbet was really very sour hahaha but you’d probably like it if you like sourness!

Overall, after trying quite a few restaurants in Bali, is this really the best we’ve had? I would say yes! Totally worth going for a fancy meal without a huge fancy price tag 🤩
