how i make and save money as a teenage girl

I could go on and on about the ways that I both purposefully and subconsciously find ways to make and save money.

When using the three apps suggested (poshmark, fetch and facebook) I find it refreshing to create a way to get the most out of my purchases.

When trying to save money while also combatting urges to shop and spend money, i’ve found myself turning to secondhand shopping and thrifting often. Over time i have built my closet, and it now consists of pieces i have purchased through secondhand shops like Goodwill and Savers. These shops are a good way to find what you are looking for style wise while on a budget. Half of the time I find exactly what I was looking for, for five times cheaper. TIP: Do your research! Sometimes thrifting is a good way to resell and make more out of what you put in. But always make sure you are getting the best deal. Some stores are unable to gauge correct prices and you could be getting charged more for what you are getting.

One of my favorite ways to make some quick money are little side gigs. I personally dog sit/ pet sit. I was lucky enough to have a few connections to find me a few permanent family’s that I work for. Usually over weekends away or vacations, I can make a good amount of extra cash that can make all the difference.

It’s always great to ask yourself questions before you make decisions revolving money, because nowadays money can be the root to success and manipulating your money creates an easygoing and fun lifestyle.
