Breakups are the worst but they’re also a great opportunity to get to know yourself, heal and come out of the situation an even better person.

When I was going through my breakup I literally had four journals. I had a manifestation journal, a self love workbook, a prayer journal and a blank journal.

I used the manifestation journal to get clear on what I wanted my future to look like

I used the prayer journal because I felt so disconnected to my faith while I was in my relationship and it was really important for me to restore that.

I used the blank journal to get out all my thoughts, feelings and emotions. This journal was also helpful for me to understand and process my thoughts.

I used the self love workbook to assist me in pouring into myself. I love this book because it has a bunch of prompts and activities that help you to make progress on your self love journey. My favorite activity in the workbook is creating a feel good playlist, I listen to my feel good playlist religiously! I really enjoyed having a playlist that made me feel good during my breakup because music lyrics can be really triggering when you’re fresh out of a breakup.

I also enjoyed working on my body. Working on my body really helped me to restore my confidence while also finding a new appreciation for myself.

While mental progress after a breakup is really fulfilling, I love watching the physical progress of my body since I started working out consistently.

I strongly suggest that you get out, socialize and make new friends !

I also suggest that you try new things, I decided to take a pole dancing class because I needed to feel like “that girl”! Pole dancing was so fun and liberating, I honestly think every girly going through a breakup should try it out !

Lastly surround yourself with friends and family! I called my friends not even an hour after my breakup and they all showed up for me. My friends and family reminded me who the f*ck I am ! I appreciate them so much for showing up for me when I needed them the most, my healing journey was definitely easier because of them.
