It’s often so much cheaper being open-minded with your destination and traveling where you can get the cheapest flight to instead of choosing a specific destination every time. You’ll also find new unexpected favorites!

🚗One of the cheapest ways to travel is car camping

If you have access to a car, go car camping! Many countries have a lot of free sites to stay the night so you’ll save a lot of money on accommodation. It’s not glamorous but it’s cheap!

🏙️Slow travel > changing cities every 1-2 days

Traveling slower helps you save money and gives you more authentic experiences in your destinations. You will save on transportation costs and there are often better accommodation deals available (especially on Airbnb) when you book a longer stay.

🎓Looking for student & youth discounts can save you a lot of money

For example Student Universe has a lot of great flight and accommodation deals for students and many attractions all over the world offer discounts or free admission to students or young people. Make sure to check these out before buying a more expensive ticket!
