Today I have some unconventional study tips for you guys!! I literally do every single one of these, so I hope you find it helpful βΊοΈπβπ»π
1. Create songs to make memorization easier: I am not kidding when I say this!! It sounds super silly, but this has carried me through every time I need to memorize things π₯Ή I still remember all the songs I made in middle school!! πππ»
2. Stay one unit/chapter ahead at all times: this is a lot easier if you do it from the very beginning of the semester! I personally try to start every semester by going over the first chapter of two ahead of time, then staying one-two units ahead for the rest of the term! This is really helpful for keeping you from falling behind πͺπ»
3. Study before eating, not after: this one is also a little strange, but I really recommend it!! If you study on an empty stomach (not starving!!), you will find that your memorization, recall, and understanding will skyrocket π§ π if you eat, then study, you can become groggy, tired, and your brain will not retain information well. This may not work for everyone, but it definitely has helped me!
4. Go over your notes right before bed on the night before an exam: this is the most important tip I have today!! If you go over your notes right before you sleep, you will find that the information is super fresh in your brain the next morning!! This has been my most used tactic my whole life, especially when I have had to cram for an exam the night before π₯Ήππ»
