is vands skin clinic any good? 🤔

ofc i couldn't miss out on visiting a skin clinic during my time in korea... 😀👉🏻👈🏻 decided on vands due to the relatively good reviews, convenient location and reasonable prices!

pre-appt:

dropped them a whatsapp and they were really helpful and patient in answering my queries and booking my appt! 😗

on the day:

i booked a 10am appt but since my accoms was super near the clinic, i decided to try my luck to head over and see if they were open at 945am since i had nth to do lol and there were people there already😮

i went to the counter to register and was given a few forms to read and fill up. there were also multiple translators on site so don't worry about the language barrier! the forms were pretty easy to fill up, and they also gave a lil pack of HBAF almonds hehe

a skin analysis was first done by taking a picture of my face left right and center before they got analysed during the consultation. i decided on an aqua peel, pico laser, excel v laser and potenza! i paid 500+ sgd in total. 💸

first step, aqua peel! it only took 10 mins hahahaha not sure if it did much but OK IT FELT NICE. pain level 0/10

they then did my excel v laser to target my redder scars. no numbing here but it was vvv slight discomfort, pain 1/10.

they then put numbing cream on my face and i waited for 45 mins, which i was very happy about as i was worried that they won't numb me for long enough and the pico/potenza will hurt lol

i got the pico laser next and it was very manageable!! felt like almost nothing except for certain areas. if anything it was just like an ant bite! pain level 1/10 as well

ok moving on to the potenza which was recommended for hydration after the drying lasers... this one was surprisingly okay. just a wee bit more uncomfortable around the more sensitive areas like near the nose and eyes. pain level 2/10!

they did have a plush for you to hug and squeeze if you're scared of the pain so YAYYY

i'm defo planning to return to vands bc it was a v good experience!!
