Being Honest: I hate being skinny 😔

I understand how folks feel about skinny people being insecure, but I just had to rant.

All bodies are beautiful, that is something I can get behind. But I don’t think my body suits me. It’s hard to love my body when I see other girls who are considered skinny but have thicker calves that don’t make them look like sticks.

Ironically, that’s what I’ve been called for almost my whole life— “twig”

I’m tired of looking like this. I’m tired of being flat and lanky. But most of all I’m tired of my insecurities being dismissed because my body type fits the beauty standard. Fitting the beauty standard means nothing when you’d do anything to have any other body.
