These #florida #vacation #destinations are all #kidfriendly spaces, two of them giving patrons a relief from the Florida elements ☀️🌧️

~ Michael Crotty Bicentennial Park in Ormond-by-the-Sea has a COVERED playground, a hiking trail, public restrooms, multiple courts and a field for different sports, pavilions, and parking with #beach access. If you’re visiting Florida, but not wanting to stay directly on the beach, this is wonderful place to spend the day for your ocean fix 🌊

~ Daytona Beach Museum of Arts & Sciences is filled with historical art and artifacts, science exhibits and a hands-on children’s section with a pretend Pizza Restaurant, a play Doctors office and tons more for all ages to enjoy 🍕🩻

~ The #orlando Science Center is another indoor museum dedicated completely to all things #science with almost everything being for kids to learn by doing 🧪 They have a dinosaur exhibit with a fossil digging area, a walk through exhibit called Life where the animals are free to roam, shows that keep the kids and parents entertained and engaged, and a large open playground area that includes a toddler space, water play area and a room that acts as a mock production of oranges from grove to table 🍊

~ Wekiva Falls is a year-round RV resort and campground that includes a spring turned 360* waterfall and a water slide. They also have cottages available for rental that comfortably sleep 8 guests, for an easier way to experience the fun of #floridasprings. There’s plenty of knee deep area for littles to play and the swimming hole ends at a shallow lagoon/river that our kids wound up “tubing” down together 🛟 there’s picnic tables, grills, public restrooms and even a concession stand/convenience store for visitors and day-guests alike.
