3.5 years of breastfeeding and counting

I have been breastfeeding for about 3.5 years. I breastfed my first until she was 3 years and 2 weeks old. My second will be a year in about a week.

I am the mom that doesn’t cover in public. I am the mom who stops what I’m doing to feed my baby if I’m around. I’m the mom who has never used a bottle with my own hands for my kids. I’m the mom who struggled to ever start but pushed through and found a way.

Breastfeeding isn’t always easy or beautiful. But it is always worth it. Even though both my kids were completely breastfed, I still believe fed is best. Do what you have to do momma.
