- COLLEGE CREDITS IN HIGHSCHOOL

If you know what you want to do, you should get ahead of the game. They offer AP credits which require you to take an exam at the end of the year to see if you get the college credit or not… even if you don’t pass that exam, you will be prepared for the actual class in college. I took my first AP class my sophomore year of highschool and I passed! So now I don’t have to take it in college. I also took dual enrollment my junior year and got 3 more college credits, and my senior year I did everything dual credit and online… basically I was finished with 1.5 years of college while I was still in college.

ONLINE CLASSES

some classes can only be taken in person, but I love taking my classes online so I can go out with friends during the day, and I’m not stuck in class when my boyfriend comes over after work. I honestly just do all of my work on monday and I have the rest of the week free, and I have time to work. (ft. a picture of me babysitting instead of being at school)

ASK FOR HELP

- don’t let yourself fall behind and struggle! Your professors are there for a reason. Also use CHAT GPT, Socratic, google, quizlet, etc to your advantage without breaking moral code

WORK AHEAD

- don’t let yourself get lost and have to stay up all night trying to make up your work. Keep a planner with deadlines to stay diligent

TAKE WHAT YOU NEED TO TAKE

- don’t take random college classes that you don’t need. I went to my schools website and pulled up the classes I needed and the ones I didn’t. For example: my highschool wanted me to take AP CHEM my junior year but I knew I didn’t need it for college, so I asked them to let me take AP BIO instead, and I passed. The only times it’s good to take extra classes is if you don’t know what you want to do, or if you’re in highschool trying to boost gpa and rank
