READ THIS before you collect your HDB keys!!

What should you really look out for when you are about to collect your keys? How do i know when i can start my renovation?

All of this is dependent when you receive your slot with HDB. The earlier you get the earlier you can have your inspection and rectifications with BSC.

Trust me when I say, you would want to book everything early and avoid being jammed up in the queue and impede your renovation planning!!

Hire a defect checker or DIY? We almost did it the defect checks ourselves so as to save some money! How hard can it be right? Just tapping the floor and checking if windows can open and close. But well, we chickened out and was afraid we werent thorough enough so yeah we hired Uncle Defect SG because of the reviews and they were quite prompt in responding even later at night.
