Proverbs and Unwind ✨

I’ve started proverbs and so far each one has been a hit so far ✨

The last few days has been a bit rough and tonight I’ve gotten to proverbs 3.

There are several verses that stood out to me

3:5-3:6

“Trust in the lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding.

“In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths smooth”

💕 why did it stand out ?

- I’ve reached a point where it’s been difficult to keep the faith that I’m on the right path. I’ve found myself over ruminating and overthinking trying to make sense of the senseless. I’ve started to get stuck in my head and be stagnant.

- I’m seeing that I need to keep going, making steps and trust that god has the power to lead me through as I should arrive. Even if I’m afraid I’m not alone.

3:13-3:18

“Happy is the man who finds wisdom, the man who attains understanding.

“Her value in trade is better than silver, Her yield, greater than gold… She is a tree of life to those who grasp her and whoever holds on to her is happy.”

💕 Why did it stand out ?

- Lately I’ve been experiencing things in my life that has tested me. I’ve had to use discernment in certain situations and use foresight to make wise choices. Honestly, as a human it has slipped me a bit and I’ve moved in ways that weren’t the wisest.

- I’m seeing that using the wisdom I’ve gained from this experience I’ll add to the value of myself and my knowledge. I’ll know better how to move in the future and not fall pray to disaster.

Overall Proverbs Thoughts:

1-3

So far the theme seems to focus on wisdom, discernment and focusing on god, not going astray.

This has so far been the most I’ve thought about how the word can relate so closely to my current situation. I look forward to learning more.
