Gua Sha is a traditional skincare technique that focuses on energy balance. Gua Sha was used in Ancient Chinese medicine to balance the qi, or energy that flows throughout your body.

A Gua Sha stone is an ancient Chinese beauty tool. It has the appearance of a smooth, flat stone, and people use it to massage their skin. This improves circulation to relieve muscle tension area faces and jaws.

One significant advantage of Gua Sha is its ability to relieve skin tension, which aids in the prevention and elimination of fine lines and wrinkles. Other benefits of using a Gua Sha stone:

✨ Improved circulation

✨ Improves the appearance of your skin by defining your cheekbones

✨ Smooth around your eyes, reducing under-eye bags and puffiness

✨ Less wrinkles on your face promotes cell turnover.

✨ Increases the absorption of your other skincare products.

You can use Gua Sha and face roller everyday or anytime you feel like you need it. This is how I use the face roller: Gently massage your skincare into your skin. Stroke the tool lightly over your skin, following the contours of your face. Repeat each movement 3-5 times around the chin, cheeks, eyes, and forehead.

How to use Gua Sha tools:

1. Begin by cleansing your face and prepping it with a facial oil or serum.

2. Apply gentle pressure to the centre of your forehead with the Gua Sha tool and scrape from the centre of your brows to your hairline.

3. Scrape from the centre of your forehead out to your temples.

4. Scrape from your inner brow bone to your outer brow bone with the smaller curled end.

5. Begin on the sides of your nose and sweep the tool from the centre to the periphery of your face on your cheek and under eye area.

6. Repeat the movements for the mouth, chin, and jaw. Move the tool from the centre to the edges.
