I’ve had my fair share of disappointing steaks in Singapore, so here’s me saving you dat coin. Yes, I know that you can do a better steak at home but y’know what, I enjoy eating steak outside and having people wait on me!!!
P.S. also great for date night 😉
Here are my fave spots:
Steak frites, or steak and fries, a classic French dish. Free flow fries here, and yes, every time I’m here, I’ll eat BASKETS of the fries. The Super Entrecôte ($72) is a thicc slap of Black Angus ribeye and is good to share between two. The Grilled Sirloin Wagyu ($92) is also a really great choice. FREE FLOW FRIES ALSO. Just saying. Just reminding. Just putting it out there.

🥩 Boeuf
Another one of my go-to steak spots. Located along the buzzy Telok Ayer Street, Boeuf is a contemporary steak house specialising in dry aged and wet aged prime ribs. You won’t go wrong with the Signature Dry Aged Prime Rib ($23/100g — last I remembered, it may have changed). Bursting with flavour and with juicy, fatty goodness, this is one place I hit whenever I have the steak cravings.

Immaculate. Extraordinary. Life-changing. That’s what the steak at Burnt Ends is. It’s no wonder that the restaurant has one Michelin star and is almost impossible to secure a table at. I’ve been there twice, and I will always order the Flat Iron, Burnt Onion and Bone Marrow ($36/100g). The other cuts I’ve yet to try, but if this is the cheapest available option and it’s that good, I CAN ONLY IMAGINE.
