If there's one color palette that is hard to go wrong with, it would have to be earth tones / neutral colours. The beauty of wearing neutrals is that they all pair together. Because they don't compete with each other, you'll have no problem pairing any of the two-three pieces together. That's why it's so important to build your wardrobe staples with neutral pieces so you can make the most of your closet. Neutral colors include shades of black, white, ivory, cream, and gray. Some colors have neutral-like characteristics, such as earth tones like sage and olive greens, burnt orange, sand, and shades of blue, including navy and denim.

Rule 1# Mix and match neutrals tone - don't worry if your head to toe isn't the exact same color. neutral colors that doesn't compete with any other color it can blend in and pair with almost anything.

Rule 2# Take your tonal look to a whole new level, and play with different textures. Layers with different textures and fabrics can elevate your basic looks to something more elegant.

Rule 3# Balance is key! Avoid looking baggy and sloppy -if the top you are wearing is big, consider layering with a structured top.
