How To Turn A Minimalist Girl To Edgy Look ⛓

We’re all unique in our own way, whether it’s our personality, our talents, our personal taste, or our fashion sense. First and foremost, if you guys been following me personally or in social media, it’s pretty obvious that I am a minimalist especially my choice of clothes in daily life.

However, there’s a part of me love to experiment and I do enjoy creating something different from what I usually put on. Basically for something extra on my look especially if there’s an event to attend, I would go for BOLD, STRONG and SHARP look.

I consider it as part of my rare “uniqueness” haha which I trust myself to bring the Edgy vibes within me because I believe that it’s important to celebrate our uniqueness instead of trying to be someone we aren’t. If you enjoy the fact that your interests and your personality are different, showcasing your uniqueness can make you look beautiful, both on the inside and outside.

So here I am transforming myself from my daily minimalist look to EDGY GIRL NEXT DOOR specially attending to Anugerah Stail EH! (our local fashion magazine). Here are some ways that I carried throughout the night:

#1 : Think bold, defiant and cool. Women with an edgy style aesthetic are not afraid to take risks with their wardrobe choices. They often think outside of the box, pairing together unusual pieces to create a daring approach to an outfit.

#2 : Go for strong makeup look! As for me, I still wanna keep a minimalist to myself. Therefore, my main focus would be the eye-makeup-look. TBH I don’t makeup by myself hahaha. I asked a friend of mine (a makeup-artist) to create this amazing sharp blue eyeliner to enhance my slanted eyes (squinch eyes haha). And I wanted everything else on my face to minimal but still enhancing my structure bones and of course with beautiful nude lipstick complete the whole look (I am obsessed with it hehe)

#3 : Texture and well tailored clothes. Material of your clothes is important too! As for this stunning dress is made by a friend of mine who own a brand (Elevent_Hour_Label) with a sustainable items. The dress is made from recycled material that turn into this soft velvet material. Also include with the cropped white jacket with nicely tailored.

#4 : Complete your look with badass accessories. Grab a chain necklace, chain belt, studded bracelet, statement rings. As for me, the dress itself has chain attached to it at the sleeve part. So my friend and I, figured out to just picked a chain necklace and chain earrings (both also from recycled items).

Whatever style or looks that you wanna try that is different from your usual attire, you must to feel confidence and comfortable with it first before you jump with your drastic decision because you may end up look uncomfortable and awkward in front of public. And that sense of confidence and uniqueness never goes out of style. You should embrace your edgy (or any) side in all that you do.
