3 AFTNOON HIGH TEA at 3 DIFFERENT Price Points

Is the most expensive afternoon high tea the nicest? Not necessarily so!

In this entry, I check out 3 afternoon high tea at 3 different price points, here’s my review and which one is truly worth the $$$. The stars awarded here are out of 3:

1️⃣ The Courtyard @ The Fullerton

S$112++ for 2

Food: ⭐️

Value For Money: ⭐️

Ambience: ⭐️⭐️

The welcome lemon tea here was good with a peachy taste to it, it was so refreshing! The ambience felt formal and proper as expected in a well established hotel. There was even a harpist playing the harp, felt super boujee 😆 However, the food though was pretty underwhelming, everything was cold, the pastries and cakes were wayyyy too sweet. The savoury ones were okay but would have been better if they were served warm. I would say come if you’re down for some boujee vibes but not so much for the food!

2️⃣ TWG Parisian High Tea Set for 2

Value For Money: ⭐️⭐️

Ambience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Some might say this place is basic but I honestly feel they have one of the best afternoon high tea in town from a taste and experience perspective! I loved how they had a good balance of sweet and savoury, scones were also served hot and was delicious with the butter and tea jelly. They also have hundreds of tea options to choose from, it really was an experience! The savoury bites were awesome and my ultimate favourite being the croque salmon. I’ve came here many times before with friends and family and I’ve always had a great experience here.

3️⃣ Cedele

S$58++ for 2

Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Value For Money: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ambience: ⭐️⭐️

This is definitely one most value for money afternoon high tea at only S$26++ per pax, I loved how the set came with more savoury bites than sweet bites including mini hamburgers, fries, cream cheese cracker and pancake with smoked salmon. The sweet pastries were popular cedele cakes like the carrot walnut cake. Overall, for the entire experience was really good! A place you can come back again even in a more casual setting.

In summary, I would pick TWG Parisian high tea set as the best option 👑 balancing both taste, ambience and price. If you’re looking for something more affordable with good taste, Cedele would be my recommendation!
