Located in in one of Kuala Lumpur’s liveliest food scenes, Feeka has made a name for itself as a popular neighborhood brunch spot. Admittedly, this was not my first trip at Feeka, in fact I previously visited this popular coffee shop last year. A homely space that is somewhere between cozy and industrial, Feeka is cool without trying too hard. In the making of the shop, the walls were left as they were, telling a story through years of layering on paints as new tenants called the space their own. Today, the old feel of the walls is juxtaposed with mod bare light bulbs and warm herringbone floors. Overhead, a skylight illuminates the baristas’ counter and brings an element of natural light into the space. Want to really get some sun? Outside is a charming tree-shaded patio for breezy days and iced lattes.

Feeka is a play on the Swedish word fika meaning to have a coffee break with friends and family, which I think is always a good idea. For the ideal fika with great fare, outstanding coffee, and a warm inviting atmosphere, there's no better place than Feeka itself.

I ordered their Basil Pesto Pasta and my friend had the Spicy Chicken Ragu. Both of the dish is fairly good enough for me but the Spicy Chicken Ragu won my heart. The balance texture of cream and diced capsicum totally blows my mind. It is not too heavy and up to my liking. The Basil Pesto Pasta is also good but for me its simply that i have tasted better ones too. It’s totally fine for first timers to try it as they exquisite quite precise flavors in the dish.
