MUST HAVE linen sets to combat sg’s weather🥵

if the singapore weather is too unbearable for you recently, it’s time to try out some linen pieces. being a natural fibre that’s loosely woven, linen pieces are very breathable which helps to combat hot weather.

i love myself some sets since you can always pair them separately, and here are two of my favourite sets that everyone needs in their wardrobe!

SET 1

top: TEM Malitta Linen Oversized Shirt (L) $49

pants: TEM Mildred Linen Wide Leg Pants (XS) $55

mildred is a remake of editor’s famous elicia pants, but this time fully in linen. I love the texture of this pants and how the shade of brown used is really dark coffee, making it easy to match with my other fits or to dress up for a smart casual look.

i went with a super oversized look for the shirt since i foresee myself wearing it as an outer and it’s super comfy and breathable! wore it out on a hot day and didn’t burn out in the heat despite the dark colours.

top: TEM Brier Linen Waistcoat (XS) $45

bottom: TEM Corena Linen Relaxed Shorts (XS) $39

i super super love this pair, and i love how the waistcoat also matches with the mildred pants in white since they are all made of the same type of white linen. waistcoats are super in trend nowadays as well, since they are so versatile and you can wear them layered or as a top!

the shorts are a super cute twist to a usual waistcoat set that comes with long pants, and i love how it makes the fit a lot more casual. do take note though that this pair doesn’t come with pockets — though it’s a sacrifice i’m very willing to make!

although linen pieces do come at a slightly costlier price, i believe that they are truly worth the investment, especially in the crazy burning weather in singapore. linen is also one of the least environmentally damaging fabric yet has excellent durability, so it’s truly worth investing in!
