DAY TRIP TO JB: Mount Austin (❌KSL/city sq❌) ☕️🐾

just an additional 15mins drive from our favourite KSL, you can visit a hipster neighborhood popular with youth: Taman Mount Austin ✨

here’s a foolproof 1 day itinerary that i did when i was there:

1️⃣ High School Kopitiam

— perfect for breakfast: they serve traditional & modern fusion toasts

— their interior design follows a high school classroom (your seat will be a study desk) 👩🏻‍🏫

2️⃣ Shiba Cafe

— this is a very cheap shiba cafe: RM 21(weekdays), RM 27 (weekends/PH)

— super popular spot so you need to make WhatsApp reservation here

— buying treats for the dogs is cheap as well (just RM 3/portion)

3️⃣ Bai Wan Dao

— every dish is served in a small portion 🍚

— you can pick mulitple bowls to form your own meal 🤤

— i felt like this “atas cai fan” experience was fun & the food was yummy 👍🏼

4️⃣ Cafe Hopping

— there are alot of cafes in this area

— most are aesthetically appealing yet at only a fraction of sg prices!

— my personal fav: Ukiyo Cafe (pretty interior & pastries)

5️⃣ Shopping

— most stores sells electronics/gadgets and have a futuristic interior design

— i found a cheap glasses store (RM200 for 3 pairs): read more here
