Melayu Klasik Outfit Idea 📀🕺

hey girlies! 💕 I just got back from a family dinner that was retro themed, and I want to share with y’all my outfit deets! 😍 I went for a 60s malay girl look- but instead of the usual gadis ayu kampung vibe, I went for bandar girl anak bangsawan vibe 💅🏼🤣

main pieces

- kebaya top: floral was a lovely girly pattern ladies used to wear back then. the fitted cutting & the little puffed sleeve was to give a more fierce silhouette (again, opposite of ayu 😎)

- kain batik: is a must of course! I stole this one from my mom’s closet lol

- heels: again, pointy and leather was to make the look more fierce-looking. women back then also never wear super high heels, so stick to low to mid heels!

accessories

- retro sunnies to look cool! went for purple-ish brown lenses

- watch: to look ‘rich’, I went for silver & gold 🙈 also only get small watch-face to look girly and vintage

- purse: I chose leather to look like a career woman with money! hahaha. found this at JBR for only RM10 😭❤️

aand for make up, I just went full glam with neutral colours plus glitter on my eyelids. glossy lips is a must for dinner nights! 💋 hope you girls found this helpful 🥰 xoxo
