Living x Guest Room💤🛋Furniture for Small Spaces📦

We had family staying over recently and unsurprisingly our guest bedroom couldn't fit everyone. Luckily we have space in the living room that we managed to convert into a guest 'bedroom'! We're also glad we had the hindsight to get a sofa bed for the living room instead of a regular sofa.

💤Here are a few things we used to convert our living room into a 'bedroom':

1. Keren Sofa Bed from FortyTwo 🛋 - $768

This sofa bed was love at first sight - some might find it a tad boring, but we love how it fits into our home and how practical it is. As it is, it works as a firm sofa with good back support. This sofa can be easily converted into a bed by pushing the back cushion forward, which will release its lock mechanism and transform it into a bed. It is big enough to support 1 person, which we think is ideal if you're living in a small apartment.

2. Po-ong Mattress Pad from Bodyluv ☁️ - $74

Because the fabric of our sofa is warm, we wanted to get a more comfortable base for our guest to sleep on. We love this po-ong mattress pad from Bodyluv because it has a buttery soft surface and poofy texture. Not as good as a real bed, but good enough! It also has a nice pastel color that matches our home, plus it's machine washable and dries pretty quickly.

3. Po-ong Pillowcase from Bodyluv 💤 - $9.80

To match the mattress pad, we also got a pillowcase in the same color. This pillowcase is superrrr soft! I almost couldn't believe it when I touched it for the first time. It's super comfortable to lie on! My only grip is that it's pretty small and if your pillow is bigger it might not fit in it.

4. Addiction Summer Blanket from Bodyluv ☀️❄️ - $74

Even though the po-ong mattress pad comes with its own matching blanket, we got the Addiction Summer Blanket instead because we don't have an aircon in the living room. We wanted a blanket that is lightweight and not too hot and this blanket is perfect for this. It comes with a double-sided surface, one cooling and one warming - totally recommend this for Singapore weather! The texture is superrrrr soft too, very comfortable to snuggle in.
