$130 Day Tour in France?

so during our cannes trip back in July, my friends and I managed to book a day tour in Nice! We took a train there for about half an hour (~$18 train tickets for round trip!) and we arrived at 8.30am ☀️

the tour package includes a free pick-up in nice!! so our driver picked us up in a van at the train station and we were joined by 2 other groups of people!! the guide also speaks in fluent English and he’s super friendly!! he also drove us around the whole day and gave us a tour about the place! 🤩

we actually went to a lot of places despite spending quite a bit of time on the roads!

1. cascade de courmes is actually the waterfall on this mountain and we got some free time to hike down to look around!! also went to the visit castellane but we didn’t really do much here but take photo at the field!

2. moustiers-sainte-marie!! love this village and the buildings are exceptionally beautiful! had a bagel run where we sat down at this bakery to eat and admire the view, and there was even a flea market for us to thrift at!!! got myself a touristy cap hehe 😆 we also had lunch with our new friends and we ate at this restaurant which served amazing drinks!

3. popped by the lavender fields and honestly it wasn’t spectacular but the photos turned out nice!!! didn’t do much here but take photos

4. verdon gorges is the HIGHLIGHT of this trip! we took some photos of the gorges (which means canyon) from the top and we drove down!! super exciting because we got to paddleboat for like a whole 2 hours (rental was about <$5?) so pack your swimsuits and sunscreens along! 🌊 we even went to swim and honestly it was just so beautiful to soak in the turqoise waters during summer :) saw lots of people jumping from cliffs so I guess that’s what you can try too if you’re in the area!

overall: 7.5/10 experience! 🌟 super pricey imo but considering how we drove around to so many places + it’s europe, I think it’s definitely something you can try!! also not to mention this is a good way of making friends! our tour ended at around 6/7 and we had dinner before leaving!
