How to Look Good this Raya 2023

Hi my loves, everyone’s so busy preparing for raya so i thought on making a post dedicated to all of you out there on how you can look your best this raya!

Aidilfitri is one of my favourite celebrations that i look forward to every year. The thought of getting ready, preparing food together with the family and also buying all the Raya necessities just makes me feel so good on the inside 🥰 So this is my personal guide on how you can look good this Raya 2023 and all the years to come.

STEP 1: FIND COLOURS THAT COMPLIMENT YOUR SKINTONE

This is very important when deciding on what colour you should go for every year. Everyone is different and each individual has their own undertones. Identifying colours that flatter the undertone of your skin will make a huge difference on your overall look. This is to ensure that you pop in your outfit instead of looking very dull as some colours may drown you instead.

STEP 2: FIND SILHOUETTES THAT COMPLIMENT YOUR BODY TYPE

Aside from colour, this is also a very crucial step. Finding your silhouette is important to ensure that your piece of clothing compliments your body shape! What may look good on me may not look good on you and vice versa. This is why we should experiment on different types of clothing to see what silhouettes look the best on you. As someone who is tall, i prefer flowy looks as i think the clothing drapes really well on me. What about you?

STEP 3: EXPERIMENT ON DIFFERENT MAKEUP LOOKS

When it comes to makeup, i would always be looking up videos on Youtube to get inspiration every year for raya. Since raya is a one-time year experience, go all out and try as many looks as you can! Experimenting weeks before will solidify your decision on what look you decide on & also ensure that you have perfected it! With that, you’ll be all set when the day comes
