How To: Ikat Pario (Tak Nampak Kaki)

Hi loves!

I’m back with another pario tutorial and this time, it’s on pario lepas! (Yes, tak jahit).

The most CRUCIAL part of making sure that your pario doesn’t reveal your legs when you walk is to make sure:

1. One side of the pario has to be longer than the other

2. Wrap it AT LEAST around 3/4 of your body - this not only makes it super secure but that extra covering will prevent your pario from rising up. Tahu2 terbelah sampai peha. I know because i’ve been there hahahah.

Now once that’s done, there’s 2 ways to style it.

If you left that metal thingy at home and you’re already back in your hometown? Style 1 is the way to go.

All you have to do is gather the shorter half of the pario to create that fan effect and tie it together w the longer side.

You get a little assistance by using that metal buckle? (idk what its called haha) in Style 2.

Insert the edge of the shorter half of the pario into the buckle and out, before tying it w the longer half.

For both styles, i prefer tying on the side as i have better control on the knot and i can see it better.
