Creating a moody but light Master Bedroom

This beautifully staged master bedroom shows how you can have both the light, airy feel AND the dark and moody at the same time, without sacrificing color or design taste.

I'm an all white walls kinda girl, but color is coming back and I don't hate it!

For this primary bedroom, the designers chose a dark shade of green for the walls, which set the mood. They lightened up the room with a white ceiling and brought in some natural tones with the wood detailing. Large windows welcomed the natural light and boom, there you have it! The room doesn't seem heavy but well balanced with the light and dark.

TIP: With a good set of blackout curtains, you can bring out more of the moody in the day time whenever you like 😉
