Homemade Vanilla Bean Coffee Syrup☕️🤍

One of my favorite ways to save money is by making my own delicious coffee syrup at home. It costs me around $6-7 for a batch compared the the William Sonoma Vanilla bean syrup at $21.

Ingredients:

1 cup sugar

1 cup brown sugar

2 cups water

1 whole vanilla bean (I find which ever one is cheapest at Whole Foods)

Directions:

Split the vanilla bean down the middle and scrape out the bean paste inside. Save that for later.

Bring the sugars and water to a boil then add the vanilla bean and paste to the mixture.

Turn down the heat once the sugar has dissolved and simmer for 10 minutes

Take off the heat and let sit until cool

Transfer to a container and keep in the fridge for up to a month☺️

My favorite way to use this syrup is in an iced vanilla latte🥰
