I visited Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh & Mui Ne) for the first time & here’s a breakdown of what I spent in 5 days 📝

I went with 1 other friend so we could split most of our expenses! Food, transport, & accomms are really cheap in Vietnam so we mananged to spend quite comfortably ☺️

💰COST BREAKDOWN 💰

OVERALL SPENDS: $846

Accomms 🏠 (Total: $154)

- Airbnbs: $93.20 (2 apartments, 3 nights)

- Centara Mirage Resort (Mui Ne): $60.73 (1 night)

Transport ✈️🚘🚝 (Total: $282)

- Flight: $233.60 (pacific airlines, 23kg check in)

- Train to Mui Ne: $9

- Sleeper Bus to HCM: $10.96

- Grabs / Taxis: approx $28 (we mainly took grab in the city / walked if the distance was <15min)

Food & Drinks 🍜🍰🥂 (Total: $125)

- We ate a mix of Vietnamese food, cafes, seafood restaurants, italian restaurant, and a bar!

- Most Vietnamese food cost around $3-$5 which is really cheap and we usually share 1 portion!

- Seafood is cheap too and you can get a huge feast (lobster, clams, scallops & more!) for just $50

- Mui Ne Sunset Tour: $33.75 (booked beforehand thru Viator)

- ATV @ sand dunes: $34.09

- Nails: $36

- Lash Lift + Tint: $22.70

- Foot Massage: $15

- Travel insurance: $38

- Shopping & souvenirs: $105
