We recently did a major first floor home renovation and I cannot express how happy I am with the final result! The renovation took 5 weeks from start to finish. Everything was done by a professional contractor but we selected all of the finishes and design elements! I got my inspiration from all over the internet and I love how it all came together.

Believe it or not, our new floor is actually a wood look tile (not actual wood). This is preferable in a space that always has water around as the wood is more likely to be damaged by that. I love the color of our tile and the herringbone pattern that we laid it out in. We chose this finish and layout as we felt it really opened up our entire space and made it feel even bigger than it actually is!

We decided on a dark finish for our cabinets in the island, and a white cabinet color for the rest of the cabinet for a nice contrast.

One of my favorite elements of our new kitchen is the waterfall island! I just think it makes a grand statement and I’m so glad we did this!

Our appliances are from the Cafe GE series, and we went with the white finish with gold hardware. The appliances were the first things our contractor had us order because of production and delays but we were so lucky we did not run into any of those issues.
