Before/After - Living Room

We didn't quite realize what we were getting ourselves into with our fixer upper...does anyone? 😅

Phase 1- demo. We tore down the foam ceiling (which also meant lots of insulation falling down) and tore out that nasty carpet

Phase 2- cleanup. The previous owner had smoked in our house for many years and every surface had a thick layer

of tobacco that needed to be scrubbed

Phase 3- prep. We had to use a pricey odor sealing primer on the walls to get rid of that smell for good. The floors also needed some leveling before we could get started

Phase 4- the actual projects! We learned how to drywall the ceilings, run recessed lighting, and install flooring, with no experience 💪
