🌿🌸Exploring The Cottagecore Town Of Ohio: Medina🌸🌿

The most quaint little town hidden in Ohio! 💖

Medina is a county west of Akron and south of Cleveland. It has a self named town square and a village named Chippewa Lake.

And everything about it is a little known hidden gem cottagecore wonderland!

Plus, let me just say that Medina people know how to present! From boutique shops to antique stores and the cabin on the lake~ it's all so visually stunning!

🌟 For this tour of Medina, we're starting off strolling the streets of Medina Square. 🌟

🌆 All of the buildings in Medina Square are 19th century era and very much maintain their original vintage style.

🛍 Next, we're tucking into an antique shop, Perfectly Charming. It's the prettiest antique I've ever been in. Each room is themed beautifully!

~and yes, all the shop names are very whimsy too~

🌿 Then we have The Gardener's Cottage, a boutique shop which is a one stop spot for all your fairytale garden cottage needs. It's a two story shop, so don't miss out on the basement level!

🏡 Shifting from Medina Square to the Chippewa Village, we have this adorable lakeside cottage that you can rent on Airbnb. The cottage was built in 1920 for the old amusement park and still sits on park grounds.

🌻 I'll have to do a post that just explores the cottage because it's so wonderfully eclectic! Here you can see just the foyer area. It gives you an idea of the decor of the rest of the cottage.

🎡 Finally we have the midway of the old amusement park, Chippewa Lake Park. The lakefront cottage had a direct access path to the park's midway. The Ferris wheel is up ahead to the left.

I've done another post exploring Chippewa Lake Park, because a lot of the park is still there even though it's abandoned. After all, what's a cottagecore town without its own old vintage amusement park?

Medina is my favorite place to visit! Over Oahu and Puerto Rico even. It's so quaint, laid back, and charming that you can really enjoy a fairytale-esque experience without tons of tourists and hustle & bustle.
