During my recent trip to Batam, I stumbled upon Harris Waterfront Resort — a hidden gem for water sports activities! 🌊 Here's why I think you should check it out for your next visit to Batam:

Initially, my friend and I were staying at Turi Beach Resort, but the water sports there were SO expensive — 15min of jetski for 480,000IDR (S$43), no thanks..✋🏼🫠 We were determined to find a better deal, that's when we contacted Harris Waterfront Resort and we were pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices they quoted us!

However, as we make our way there to Harris resort, it started drizzling.. 😵‍💫 When we arrived, the reception told us we had to wait for the drizzle to stop. Despite our initial disappointment, we decided to have lunch while waiting and praying for the rain to stop. After a patient two-hour wait, the team informed us that they are closed for the day. We were so disappointed because it was our last day in Batam and we had a ferry to catch at 7pm. 😭😭

BUT guess what? The amazing team at Harris Waterfront Resort saw our desperate faces and decided to work some magic. Just as we were about to book a grab to elsewhere, they gave us the green light to hit the water, even though they were technically closed. We were SO so thankful and happy. 🥹🤍

The team at Harris Waterfront Resort proved to be not only accommodating but also incredibly friendly and fun-loving. We were provided with an extended duration for each activity, including banana boat, super thriller, and jetski. 😍 Though we had paid for just 15 minutes per activity, we found ourselves enjoying over an hour of pure adrenaline-fueled fun!! It was definitely the highlight of our trip and I am so glad we waited till the end. ❤️

They also helped us to take photos and videos using their their trusty Android phone hence the quality of the videos and pictures were NOT the best as you can see.. 🤣 you can definitely pass them your phone for photos and videos if you prefer!! 👌🏼

Try not to do water sports on your last day!!! We learned this the hard way.. 😵‍💫 If it happens to rain on your last day, like it did for us (thankfully, we got lucky), you may miss out on the fun. Plan your water sports activities earlier in your trip to ensure you don't miss the excitement due to unexpected weather conditions.
