During my recent visit to Melaka I frequented some favourites, sharing here so you can save for the next time you plan to go for a day trip 😉

🚪CHOP CHUNG WAH CHICKEN RICE BALL

🌭Best if you come in a group! Order the half chicken for extra satisfaction guaranteed

🚪THE DAILY FIX CAFE

📍55 Jalan Hang Jebat, 75200 Melaka

🕐 945am - 530pm (Open every day)

🌭They’re famous for their pancakes, my favourite is the salted egg one - they’re honestly just okaaaaaayy more on the mid side but it’s like a tourist favourite so no harm giving it a try

🚪THE BABOON HOUSE

📍89, Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock, 75200 Melaka

🕐 10am - 5pm (Closed on Tuesdays)

🌭Their burgers and homemade kombucha are to die for! My personal favourite was the buttermilk fried chicken burger 🍔

🚪THE OLD MERCHANT

📍88 Jalan Kampung Pantai, 75200 Melaka

🕐 6pm - 1am (Closed on Mondays)

🌭It’s a speakeasy style bar so might be hard to find, but they do local flavoured cocktails REALLY well and it’s super affordable too! As nice as the inside is I recommend you choose outdoor seating if it’s not too hot - you get a beautiful view of the river 🌊

🚪SALUD TAPAS

📍94 Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock, 75300 Melaka

🕐 4pm - 12am (Closed on Tuesdays)

🌭Literally the only Spanish restaurant in the whole of Melaka, I kid you not - but it’s run by Spanish people and as far as Spanish food goes it’s not bad. Super nice ambience though - a solid 7/10 for me.
