Aesthetic & Easy Birthday Shoot Idea 💋 Inspo ‼️

hi girlies! recently I celebrated my 22nd birthday and I had this vision to create a birthday video! so here’s an easy tutorial on how I created this little birthday video which can be an inspiration for your next birthday shoot 🤭

so first I had this vision to create an animation for the first part of the video. I grabbed my laptop and opened canva and clicked on the instagram reels canvas.

then knowing what I wanted in my head, I tried designing my logo and background using all the elements in canva.

for the computer screen I typed in “computer screen” on the elements tab and there were a lot of customizable templates you can use! on canva you can click on the animation button to create the animation according to your idea! I then proceeded to put in the text I want and animate the text with the typewriter option ✨

after completing the animation, it was time to shoot the actual video. since I love the colour purple and the disco aesthetic, I ordered a small bento cake🎂 and bought some props like party poppers and the foil curtains!

I put on my best dress and did my purple makeup look to match the whole vibe and started shooting away! ✨🫶🏻 I played around with the props, cake and all you just need to pose your heart out!

then after you get all of your footage it’s time to edit! I sequenced everything together on inshot and just played around with the effects the app has to offer. you can play around with zoom effect, collage effect!

my most favorite part is the heart cutout, go to the picture in picture option and click on the footage you’d like to be in the heart and click on mask and then choose the heart mask 🫶🏻

and for the final step I went on the prequel app to add this dreamy bling bling filter I love called brilliant 😍
