Well.... I went to Seoul🇰🇷 in end March'2023 and waited over 56 days for this sea shipment 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ all because I wanted to save SGD60+.
For context:
20kg air shipping to sg: sgd$125
20kg sea shipping to sg: sgd$59
✈️ Air shipping takes 10days
🛥️Sea shipping takes at least 1 month
I definitely underestimated the duration for sea shipping since it took over almost 2 months 🤣🤣
It's unlike taobao shipment whereby there are cargo containers allocated everyday.
Koreapost do not have alot parcels everyday to SG.
Simply put, there's alot waiting time for the container to be filled up. It was at least 15+ days at Korea, then 15+ days at Hongkong... All these waiting time contributed to the shipping duration.
Yes I saved sgd60+ by choosing sea shipping.
But is it worth the anxiety???! NAHHHH😡
My parcel contained sgd3k+ worth of #oliveyoung loots!!! I placed #samsungsmarttag to GPS track it and it's still gave me lotsa anxiety 🤣🤣
