Best Airbnb thus far

We all love an Airbnb steal that’s cheap and def VERY worth the price. I was extremely satisfied with the quality and service this apartment found on Airbnb for my Hanoi trip there’s rly no reason for me to gatekeep it because good things must always share 🤤

1) Location 📍

Location wise it is somewhat about a 20 min grab drive from the old quarter area, but grab there is rly cheap and accessible so there’s rly no need to worry about it. Located at Tay Ho, West Lake which I would consider it a more atas area considering the amount of condos there are around the area. And this penthouse was no exception.

2) Building

Though it being an Airbnb, the building had a reception which of course didn’t require a proper check in because it’s not a hotel reception, but made it feel very safe with 24/7 security guarding the ground level. Made me feel more at ease as my partner and I are both girls and was very satisfied with the sense of security it gave us.

3) Views

The apartment was on the 17th floor, and the view was absolutely amazing, it felt like we were at the top of the world. Not to mention the wind up there was strong af. An apartment with a good view plus floor to ceiling windows can never go wrong.

4) Amenities

The usual was definitely provided, but what surprised me was how the host went extra to supply us some necessities like shampoo and body wash. There was even a washing machine with laundry detergent provided. Toilet paper rolls were also prepared extra before hand, as well as towels and garbage bags. Which was rly great and saved us the trouble of bringing and buying there. They did provide toothpaste, however not tooth brushes which I think is just a thing there because we went on to sapa and they did the same. There was cutlery, plates, bowls, knives, kettle, dishwashing liquid, hand wash, and even a water purifier machine making it super convenient for us with 0 need to constantly buy bottled water outside.

5) Plus points we didn’t expect

The projector was in all honesty something that we did not know was going to be. And it was the best thing ever for late night movie streaming before turning in. The screen covers wider than the bed, and goes all the way up to the ceiling. My partner and I binged on the early 2000s Evil dead remake on Netflix which they have provided, host’s account. They also provide Disney, YouTube, Weibo and more.
