IS CLOUD9BEAUTYBAR WORTH THE HYPE???

recently had my first facial ever with cloud9, and this is j gng be a “review” of how the experience went!!!

i did the signature facial (80mins), but i picked the trainee option (usually they will post trainee slots on their instagram, you can follow them on instagram @cloud9beauty.sg) which was a little cheaper than the usual one! but if you’d like to get the full experience, i guess opting for an experienced therapist would be better!!!

📍 getting there

i went to the outlet at 66 circular rd (heard they opened their second outlet recently at burlington square) and u can get there via raffles exit g! location wise abit hard to navigate if u’re bad w directions but overall still rather accessible! and they have this mirror thing at l1 so it also makes it easier to spot them

📍 experience

after “checking in”, i just had to wait for a little while at the waiting area, overall vibe was very nice as well!

afterwards, i got called in to change & the outlet uses curtains to separate the diff beds (but i didnt rly face an issue with that). before the whole process started, she also asked if i had any skin concerns that she needed to take note of, and etc etc, then advised moving forward with the kind of facial i should do (cloud9 has like quite a few types of facial like signature facial, korean bb glow, acne defence & more). the therapist also asked if i had any makeup on my face (i applied sunscreen) and helped me to removed before moving on to the procedure! therapist was super gentle throughout the whole session, like when warm water was used, she will check in regarding the temperature & if it’s too hot, or if it’s okay for me! other than that was the extraction(??) part where its abit painful… but everytime aft i told her ab it she’ll be more gentle so i really appreciated that! (i googled…. extractions r painful… 🥲🥲) before moving on to the mask step, the therapist also used some cooling ball thing(?) to calm my face down (cause my forehead was red after the extraction) and it felt so nice i loved it HAHAHAHA

anyways aft the sess they’ll serve u tea…. 🫖🍵

conclusion: was a pretty good session honestly!! and my skin never felt cleaner (ty extraction) but at the same time red… #trusttheprocess and apparently some things to expect after a facial r like breakouts, redness etc… and considering how this is like my first ever facial i think i’ll def return next time… SO YES I THINK IT WAS P WORTH THE HYPE!!!! not only so, they have diff facials to cater to diff skin types, and really appreciate the small consulting before carrying the actual treatment out! (RUN DONT WALK GO GET A FACIAL 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️)
