My top 3 must eat places in JB!

As a savory food girlie and avid JB go-er, here are my top 3 must eats in JB 🤘🏻😜

1️⃣ Restoran Yawang

A great lunch spot even for a simple trip into JB. Known for their famous herbal roasted duck (+ char siew and roasted pork) You know their food is the real shit when Dian Xiao Er from singapore go to them and consult them for their herbal roasted duck 🫣😜

For a quarter of the price, half a duck costs only $13.70SGD 🤪 with the choice of their noodles or rice. Their top 3 duck choices are - angelica herb, wild ginseng, ten wonder herbs, either one of these taste amazing but i always go with the Angelica herb 🤤

Apart from their meat they also have great zhi char selections too!

2️⃣ Warakuya

Also known given the label as best sushi in Johor, I can’t pass this restaurant when I’m in JB and craving thick ass salmon sashimi 🍣 ~ $7.30 (for 5 thick slices!)

What I’m always impressed with is the variety they have, you get 3 menus to choose from and I’m always spoilt for choices ☃️

They have set meals like tonkatsus to ramens, there’s sushi too and a great selection of smaller side dishes too! 🔥

3️⃣ SMOKD

Lastly for my meat lovers, a simple 10/15min ride from the check point is this BBQ smoked meat spot 🍖🍗🥩 For ~$57SGD their 4 person meat platter comes with 4 different cuts of meat - all super juicy and tender 🤤(highlight was the ribs that slipped off the bone super easily!) followed by 4 different slides, 4 buns and 4 drinks! 🤭

I loved how you get to choose the cuts from this restaurant, when my friends and I went they were just opening and now overly crowded 🤓I also saw the locals packaging from this store so we assumed it was going to be pretty good 😚
