Aperia Mall I just went for my first luggage market experience, and honestly, IT WAS SO EXCITING!

My friend and I managed to snag a slot before it SOLD OUT (ALL GONE WITHIN A MIN 🤯 n it was as stressful as buying TS/COLDPLAY tix). also, STAY TUNED for tips on HOW TO SNAG A SLOT!!!!

We went in with 2 mid-size luggage 🧳 and 5 bags 💼 full of clothes, and we managed to earn a total of $360+!

Here's what we went through and some pricing tips and strategies that can help you MAXIMIZE YOUR PROFITS🔥✅📈📈!

1️⃣ 𝘽𝙀 𝙀𝘼𝙍𝙇𝙔 ⏰ !

The fair was supposed to start at 11 am, but I reached around 10:30, and there were so many people already. They were so eager that they HELPED ME OPEN MY LUGGAGE 🫣🫨 and started flipping everything. It was legit quite insane...

2️⃣ 𝙌𝙐𝘼𝙉𝙏𝙄𝙏𝙔 > 𝘽𝙍𝘼𝙉𝘿𝙀𝘿

The target audience are migrant workers, so they want things CHEAP 🤑! Many are not willing to go above $5 per piece. So, if you're intending to sell your vintage hard rock/carhartt/harley davidson/nfl tee for $20 per piece, you can consider selling at Hammock Market instead. As long as your clothes aren’t tattered or torn (unless it’s ripped denim) they will want to buy it! many bought my school’s tshirt also HAHAH

POPULAR ITEMS✨: Men's clothes esp pants, polo t, office wear, T SHIRTS (the bigger the better) and denim!

3️⃣ 12 - 3 𝙥𝙢 𝙈𝙊𝙎𝙏 𝘾𝙍𝙊𝙒𝘿𝙀𝘿 👯‍♀️👯👯‍♂️

the 12-3pm mark was when the transactions were continuously coming in 🤭! it was really NON STOP and that is when it’s best to offer BUNDLE DEALS! the more they take, the more “BROTHER/SISTER discount” you can give them 🤣🤣

4️⃣ 𝘽𝙍𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝙎𝙏𝙊𝙊𝙇𝙎 🪑/ 𝙎𝙄𝙂𝙉𝘽𝙊𝘼𝙍𝘿𝙎 𝘼𝙉𝘿 𝙈𝘼𝙍𝙆𝙀𝙍𝙎 ✍️

We were really glad that we brought Decathlon stools with backrests. The stools they gave us were TOO HIGH and we often had to bend down and help them DIG THINGS OUT 💀💀 NOT GOOD FOR THE BACKS YEA…stools are a 10/10 MUST BRING. Get cardboards to write down your prices and paste your QR code so people from far can see and be attracted to your store ✨ You can also shout 🗣️ , which is what I did (NOT RECOMMENDED unless you want to have a sore throat like I have right now 💀💀😭😭).

5️⃣ 𝘾𝙍𝙀𝘼𝙏𝙀 𝘼 𝙂𝙍𝙊𝙐𝙋 𝘾𝙃𝘼𝙏 / 𝘾𝙃𝘼𝙉𝙉𝙀𝙇 🧠

I really have to thank my friend for this one. We can just note down how much we made, especially when we have bundle deals. For example, if a customer paid $6 and 2 items are mine and 1 is my friend's, we just note it down as $6, 2 Stef, 1 friend. At the end of the day, we can transfer each other our own money accordingly based on our items sold 👍🏽👍🏽

6️⃣ 𝙃𝘼𝙑𝙀 𝙀𝙉𝙊𝙐𝙂𝙃 𝙍𝙀𝙎𝙏 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙤𝙪𝙨 𝙙𝙖𝙮!!!

LOL i wanted to faint when the event ended… i caught a cold 🥶 on THURSDAY, gastric and fever 🤒 on FRIDAY AND SATURDAy … amazing how my body was able to tahan thru this… body legit rip 🪦

7️⃣ 𝘽𝙍𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝘾𝘼𝙎𝙃 💰

a good amount ard $50? i got a lot of coins, $2 and $10 notes! i wanted to bring more but really don’t need HAHAHAHA

💰PRICE STRATEGY💰 :

10:30 - 12:00: 1 for $5, outerwear $7, shoes $7

11:00 - 14:30: 1 for $5, 2 for $8, 3 for $10! (BUNDLE DEALS! brother sister discount 🤪)

14:30 - 16:00: 1 for $2, 2 for $3 (FIRE SALE 🔥 ! Wanted it to be only for 30 mins, but many people were attracted to this)

16:00 - 17:00: 2 for $2 (FINAL 2 HOURS)

17:00 - 18:15: 3 for $1, and $1 TAKE AS MUCH AS YOU WANT! HAHAHAH 🤣🤣

^ Don't forget to consider the prices other booths around you are offering as an important factor!

at the end of the day, we sold about 95% of everything and we donated the remaining away at the donation booth at TLM! … NO POINT KEEPING IT HAHAHA

🤭 And that's how we made the money! I earned about $200+ (after deduction of the booth cost), which I think is pretty worth it, given that those are the clothes I know I won't be wearing anytime soon. I scold my friends for being hoarders, but I'm pretty much a hoarder myself 🤣🤣💀💀

I will definitely do this again when I have more clothes since my closet is now over 50% empty.

It's pretty meaningful to give your unwanted clothes a new lease of life!
