Wedding band shopping & their prices! 🤑💰

On the hunt for your wedding bands? This post is for you! Hopefully my journey gives you an insight on what to consider before deciding on THE ONE.

I have always wanted to get my wedding band in rose gold because I like the contrast, you know my engagement ring is in white gold. Also, if you have read my post on my engagement ring, I mentioned that I was gonna get my wedding bands from a luxury brand. Top 3 on my list was Cartier, Chaumet & Van Cleef.

Some considerations I had when I was shopping for my wedding band:

1. It must complement my engagement ring because I intend to stack them together for everyday wear

2. Look nice by itself too, for reasons like when I travel to the States, I don't usually wear my engagement ring, but I'd wear my wedding band.

3. Comfort level is very important, it should not bother me when I wear it on a daily basis or even 24/7

4. Distinctive design, anyone would be able to tell the brand with one look at the ring (if not I might as well customize my wedding band right??)

So here are the rings we tried and my thoughts! (Please note that prices may vary due to adjustments.)

✨ Cartier LOVE Ring fully paved with diamonds; $7050 (Small, RG) | $7550 (Small, WG) | $10400 (RG)

When I tried this; I was like "Ok, this is the one. I am getting it" I LOVE how bling this ring is, especially when stacked with my engagement ring!!! The only concern was that it would look a bit plain if I were to wear it without my engagement ring... Like 没有存在感🤨

✨ Cartier LOVE wedding band 8 diamonds; $6000.

I love this too but I just felt that the diamonds are not very eye-catching (again because of my engagement ring)

✨ Cartier LOVE wedding band; $1790

LOVE THIS. Besides its looks, it is SO comfortable to wear. Probably the most comfortable ring of all that I've tried. I thought this would go really well with my Cartier LOVE bracelet too. This ring totally won me over.

✨ Bulgari Fedi ring in white gold; $2600

I actually quite like how it matches my ring, totally tempted to get this....

✨ Gucci 18kt yellow gold Icon band ring; $1570. Looks just like Cartier's LOVE ring except for the logo... just tried for fun. Maybe it can be worn as a fashion ring on my index finger, but definitely not as my wedding band.

✨ Tiffany & Co Forever Band ring in platinum; $4000.

Hmmmm I thought I'd like this, but somehow I felt that my engagement ring completely outshined this ring

✨Triomphe De Chaumet Wedding Band; $7360

I loved this too but when I stacked them together, my diamond covered the design completely... :( Then I might as well get VCA?!

✨ VCA Félicité wedding band, 2.1 mm; $10500

WOW VCA diamonds are 100 every stone is SUPER BLING. I think I might love this more than the Cartier fully paved love ring... but omg $10K emoji Sean said if I really liked it, I could get it. But if i really did... i would be wearing Gabrielle's tuition fees on my ONE finger lol

I have tried wayyyy more rings than these, you can watch my shopping vlog on my youtube channel. After considering all the factors that I have listed above, I decided to go with Cartier LOVE ring for the following reasons:

1. Looks great with or without my engagement ring

2. Very obvious it is a Cartier LOVE ring

3. Extremely comfortable

4. Matches my Cartier LOVE bracelet

Most importantly, more budget for my wedding YAY!!!
