Just two hours south of San Francisco lies one of the most charming and beautiful destinations in all of the US: Carmel-by-the-Sea. 🌊

This quaint town and the surrounding scenery make for one of the best weekend trips. 🛣️

Here is how I would spend a perfect weekend in Carmel 👇

Day 1: Arrive, check into Carmel Valley Ranch - The Unbound Collection by Hyatt (ask for the room overlooking the vineyards!). Explore the cottage around Carmel-by-the-Sea for the afternoon, grabbing dinner at La Bicyclette Restaurant and walking on the beach.

Day 2: Get breakfast at Stationæry before taking a mini road trip down Highway One to Big Sur. Make stops at Point Lobos State Natural Reserve, Garrapata State Park Bluff Trail, and Bixby Creek Bridge before enjoying happy hour with a view at Nepenthe. End your night with dinner back in Carmel at Dametra Cafe.

Day 3: Spend your morning explore nearby Pacific Grove. Get breakfast at Red House Cafe, do a little vintage shopping, and take a walk down the beach to Lovers Point. Finish your perfect weekend with an Italian lunch at Il Vecchio.
