for me, this looks like sundays spent taking care of myself & setting myself up for success in the week ahead. i usually spend my sunday cleaning the apartment & doing a few other things, but these are my NON NEGOTIABLES that i absolutely never skip 👇🏼
🌟 slow breakfast - all of my meals are eaten out of meal prep containers & spent multi tasking (eating while commuting or while working). i treat myself to a homemade breakfast EATEN OFF OF A PLATE that i can take my time to enjoy
🌟 long gym sesh - the sessions on sunday aren’t always long, but they aren’t rushed. my weekday gym sessions are done during a set amount of time (so i am supersetting everything trying to get my workout done in time) and i lose the ability to truly enjoy my workouts or try something new! on sunday’s i give myself that time
🌟 meal prep - i wouldn’t SURVIVE without my meal prep! this saves me so much time & money, and ensures i am fueling myself with nutritious food without having to give it thought throughout the busy week. i outline my meal prep routine in another lemon8 post!
🌟 time outside - working a desk job, you don’t get to enjoy the outdoors or fresh air very much! if it isn’t raining or snowing i make an effort to spend some time outside
🌟 good sleep - i am in bed EARLY on sunday nights! i know my body needs the rest & it sets me up for success on monday
