Must-go Thrift Stores in Penang! 🚙

I recently came back from my trip to Malaysia (KL-Penang) and gosh can I say that the Penang thrift stores impressed me!! Here are the stores I went to and my review!

Fujiyama Jeans & Tokyo No.18

Literally one of the biggest thrift shop in Penang and it is obvious why people love this place. Once you’re around the area it’s quite easy to spot it because of the huge signs. There are two floors and I would say the bottom floor consists of mainly unisex/men’s clothing with cameras and vinyls. There’s also a cafe where you can purchase a ☕️. The range was super and the racks were neat so it was easy to navigate through the clothes. Near the back there is a box full of cheap bags that you can rummage through. The 2nd floor is for women and you can find really good deals for the brands that they have up there. I saw this really cute Gucci shoes but DAMN are my feet too big. I think that the price is a little bit more or the med-pricey side but you’re also paying for the good quality and sometimes the brands. It really is worth it!! (We went here twice in a span of a 3 days trip to Penang)

This one is an absolute GEM 💎 although I didn’t buy anything here since nothing fit my style, if you’re into street wear this is really a place to visit. There was a cute vest I wanted to get but was too small😵‍💫 The decor is also super cool, very vintage retro vibes!!

Great Worn Vintage

There are LOADS to look at here. Similar to Fujiyama Jeans the bottom floor is mainly unisex/men and upper for women. We spent easily an hour+ in a small shop because there’s just so many good loot! I had a hard time choosing but i restraint myself from buying too many items :) the fashion here is quite street style/American/Japanese which means you’ll find COOL COOL clothes!

This place holds a special place… because there was a cute cat??? It was so chunky. Anyways, the range was good especially for men/unisex shirts because the first floor was full of it! shout out to the upper floor where the tattoo parlour is! The women’s section was very small but they have unique pieces and I believe quite a number of them are reworked. Didn’t fit my style but I feel that this would be a huge hit for many!!
