Technically these are called sebaceous filaments and not black heads. Black heads are a little larger than these. Sebaceous filaments can also be on your chin as well.
At first I didn’t think this worked, but once I put the pictures side by side, I did notice a difference.
To do this, you need an oil cleanser. Any oil cleanser will work, and even an oil like almond oil or jojoba oil works too. I used Embody’s One and Done Oil Cleanser ($32) and Skin Proud’s Face Melt ($14).
First, I went in with Embody’s One and Done Oil Cleanser and massaged it for about 3 minutes. This has the consistency of an actual oil. I rinsed this off with water and went back in with Skin Proud’s Face melt and massaged for about 1.5 minutes. This is more of a blam consistency. Then, I cleansed my whole face with Cetaphil’s foaming facial cleanser, which is just like a normal cleanser.
What do you think? I’m surprised that it actually worked at all. I’ve seen other people have really great results. I wonder if you steam your face first if you would have a different outcome.
