I always have a craving for pasta and chicken parm. There was a period in my life growing up that I would always order a chicken parm because it was always so good, but it is fried and not exactly the healthiest.
So, I put together this recipe to make a healthier and more high protein version using my air fryer!
INGREDIENTS
• Chicken breast
• Gluten free bread crumbs
• Gluten free flour
• Egg
• Italian Seasoning
• Rao’s pasta sauce
• Banza chickpea pasta
• Low fat mozzarella cheese
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Slice your chicken breast in half so it is thin and even
2. Dip the chicken breast in about a Tbsp of flour
3. Dip the chicken breast into a beaten egg
4. Dip the chicken breast into the bread crumbs
5. Spray down your air fryer basket with cooking spray and cook for 15 min at 375
6. Top your chicken breast with sauce and cheese and broil for a few minutes until golden brown
7. Boil your pasta and top with sauce and cheese
