1. Keep the romance alive

This is always so extremely important in keeping a happy and healthy relationship. You and your partner should both feel wanted and secure. This doesn’t have to be just physical. I love the little moments where Bryce will surprise me with my favorite snacks.

2. Go on intention date nights

Set aside one night a month or more to go on an intention date night! Take turns picking the restaurant or activity! It’s always fun to get out of your normal routine and get special time away from everyday life to connect and talk about what is going on with each of you individually. This will help you to always keep growing.

3. Prioritize communication and understanding

Notice how I say prioritize communication AND understanding. Most people just think prioritizing communication is the best thing you can do in a relationship, but without understanding communicating is pointless. If you do not try to see from your partners perspective and understand what they communicate then you will not be able to actually move past and work through problems!
