Ko Lipe is such a magical island perfect for relaxing and ocean activities. It gives you the Maldives clear water for a fraction of the price! Perfect for the young & broke travelers out there (like me) 🤝

🛌 ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation is $8 to $14 a night in a hostel and even cheaper depending on the season! I personally stayed at Castaway Resort Koh Lipe which has garden bungalow rooms as long as $37 and oceanview rooms for $75! I was kindly given this stay for free as a collaboration but would stay over and over again.

🥙 FOOD

There are so many food options for $2-3 a meal. Drinks were around $3-7. The biggest money saver is eating local food vs. western food but even that is generally around $5+.

⛴️ TRANSPORTATION

I took the bus and speed boat from Krabi for around $25 and all other boat taxis and Tuk Tuks were $1-3 depending on the distance.

🌊 THINGS TO DO

I spent most my days on the beach but I'd also suggest snorkeling by either renting a snorkel or going on a trip that ranges from $15-30 all day, watching the fireshow at Zodiac See Sun Beach Bar Koh Lipe, renting a clear kayak for the ultimate pinterest vibes and more. The island is relaxed and small so dont expect a party!
