No 过大礼，I pick my own wedding gift instead🥰

During this long weekend, 🙋🏻‍♂️ brought me to buy my wedding gift ❤️ I’ve been eyeing this necklace from bvlgari since one year ago and I am so happy to finally own one myself.🥹🥰 Thank you to my fiancé for spoiling me 😍😍😍

Context: we are not having any 过大礼 because of several reasons:

- we will be paying for our own 过大礼 as we do not want our parents to be forking out the money. ◡̈ (tho we know that 过大礼 custom is usually paid by the parents as a gift to the female side, but our parents really just work to put food on the table)

- after thinking about it, we do not want to spend money on things that we will not be using. (Ie: oranges or those traditional items that we need to purchase), we’re not a fan of it🫣

- our parents are also supportive of our decision as 🙋🏻‍♂️ is always v sincere in marrying me haha. 😬😍

I did consider 四点金 before but I don’t wear bracelet or ring often. I am always a necklace kind of girl so a necklace it shall be.🥰 my current necklace is the one from goldheart which 🙋🏻‍♂️ bought for me 5 years back! I’m still super in love with it till today.

For context, I love mother of Pearl and diamond so the bvlagri necklace is perfect for me. 😍 hehe this necklace is so beautiful , can’t wait to wear it on my wedding day :’)
