First Cash Stuffing for September

So I’ve never really shared my cash budgeting journal on social media. But after talking with a few people on this app and other places, I’ve decided to start sharing my journey.

In hopes to help and motivate other people, but to also keep myself accountable. I may or may not start making videos of it in the future if I find that to be easier or if people really want to see it.

I usually cash stuff 2-4 times a month. Typically near the end of each month/beginning of each month.

It is somewhat Dave Ramsey inspired in the sense that every dollar has a purpose and place.

This is the first cash stuffing for the month of September, there will be another stuffing post coming within the next couple days.

My breakdown for todays stuffing:

I stuffed $1,131;

$200 towards “Housing”

$100 towards “Car”

$700 towards “Gas”

$50 towards “Gifts”

And a total of $81 in my 100 envelope challenge!

I am starting over and fresh this month. I’ve done cash budgeting on and off for over a year now. But since packing up and deciding to travel for the next few years, we ate into money we had to fund that and get it started. We do have money set aside in a savings account that we don’t touch.
